The Corno del Renon lifts take you into the eponymous family skiing area above the main town of South Tyrol, accessible also without a car: Near the Bolzano train station, there's the Renon Cable Car which takes you to the high plateau. Then the bus continues to Collalbo and to the valley station of the 8-seater gondola lift in Pemmern, which leads to the Schwarzsee Peak. From there, two other ski lifts take you to the 2,260 m high Corno del Renon in the Sarentino Alps.
The 360 degrees panorama from the peak is simply breathtaking and stretches to the Dolomites. Here you will find 14 km of gentle, wide slopes. The snow park realised by the F-Tech crew and the beginners' area are located at the intermediate station, whereas the new fun park for kids with Toni, the eagle, is situated slightly higher. On the upper slopes of the mountain, there's the area, where snowkiters on skis and snowboards are being pulled across the pasture by steerable kites.
The mountain is a member of the Ortler Skiarena and includes also the Corno del Renon natural toboggan run and the Schönalm panorama cross-country ski track start at the intermediate station. Furthermore there's Italy's first Winter Premium Trail for winter hikers in a unique position. Currently, the area is working on a 10-year project, which includes the maintenance and further development of the Corno del Renon Cable Car and of the skiing and hiking area until 2028.
