Thirteen ski areas in the west of South Tyrol, one in Nauders in North Tyrol, and one in the Swiss Val Müstair near the South Tyrolean border formed the Ortler Skiarena network until 2026. At the end of the ski season, the offering for the upcoming season was expanded to the whole of South Tyrol: Racines-Giovo, Speikboden, and Klausberg are now included.
From small family ski areas with wide slopes to larger ski centres, snow parks, and children's clubs, there is something for everyone here. The ski areas of the Südtirol Skiarena extend up to an altitude of 3,250 metres. These include two glacier ski areas that make winter sports possible from autumn until late spring: the Solda Skiing Area in the Passo dello Stelvio National Park (pictured) and the Val Senales Glacier with its Alpin Arena Senales.
Further members of the Südtirol Skiarena include the ski resorts of Merano 2000, Plan Val Passiria, Monte San Vigilio, and Schwemmalm in the Merano region. Near Bolzano are Mt. Corno del Renon and Reinswald, while Monte Cavallo and Ladurns are situated in the Upper Valle Isarco. Additionally, Trafoi, Watles, and Belpiano-Malga San Valentino are located in the Val Venosta.
Minschuns can be found near the Swiss convent of St. John in Müstair, while Nauders is on the North Tyrolean side of the Passo Resia. New additions, as already mentioned, include Racines-Giovo in the Upper Valle Isarco as well as Speikboden and Klausberg in the Tures and Aurina Valleys. As a result, the new ski network now stretches from the west of the province to the east of South Tyrol. The year-round pass is also a new feature: It allows the lifts to be used both during the ski season and for summer hiking.
