Reinswald in the Val Sarentino valley, featuring South Tyrol’s 1st sledding park, belongs to the ski carousel Ortler Skiarena.

Reinswald in the rear Val Sarentino valley in the heart of South Tyrol is one of 15 South Tyrolean skiing areas belonging to the ski carousel Ortler Skiarena. It is very popular with families and offers top quality slopes as well as the Snow and Sun Park on the Plankenhorn slope. The most courageous can compete on the European Cup downhill slope. For families, however, there is a 4.5 km long toboggan run, which leads from the Pichlberg Mountain Hut to the valley station of the cable car.

There you can also find South Tyrol's 1st sledding park, so that you can get in contact with this wintersport. The park is maintained by the tobogganing expert and ex luge athlete Martin Psenner. The skiing area of Reinswald has also got a wide range of offers for children, which includes for instance the children's specialized Val Sarentino ski school and a winter playground at the valley station of the cable car.

Another service offered is the shuttle, which connects Bolzano and the Val Sarentino valley for winter days without car. In the four ski huts at altitudes between 1,530 m and 2,130 m a.s.l. you can not only enjoy the pleasant atmosphere, but also local dishes or the famous après ski!
