Watles skiing area

Watles is a family-friendly and varied skiing area in the Ortler Skiarena, close to Malles/Burgusio in the Val Venosta valley.

In the Watles skiing area above Malles/Burgusio everyone maintains the overview. Modern lift facilities, 18 km of easy and medium difficult slopes, no queuing, a great view on the surrounding mountain peaks of the Ortles Alps as well as numerous ski lodges and restaurants - these are the characteristics of the skiing area. Among the new attractions is the 1 km long ski cross track.

Available is the Watles Ski School with carving and snowboard instructors, a 650 m long snow park with Family Fun Line and Wood Line, the Bubo Children Park with ski-kindergarten as well as a free ski bus. Those who love the après ski feeling, however, will have fun at the Igloo at the valley station. Snow-shoeing, cross-country skiing and sledding are on the agenda as well. Watles is part of the Sesvenna Alps in the border triangle Italy-Austria-Switzerland.

Watles is one of 15 South Tyrolean skiing areas belonging to the Ortler Skiarena. Furthermore it belongs to the Two Country Skiarena, offering 211 km of slopes between Nauders at the Passo Resia mountain pass and Solda in the Val Venosta valley.
