The adventure circular trail on the local mountain of Bressanone was named after the Lorggen, who are presented here as figures and stations. As you might have guessed, old legends and stories play an important role, because many inexplicable things used to be associated with witches, ghosts and small mystical figures in former times. The 8 km long Lorggen Circular Trail (Lorggenring) can be done in 2.5 hours and starts at the mountain station of the Plose Cable Car.
First the hike follows the WoodyWalk Plose to a viewing platform, where trail no. 17C branches off and leads further into the dense forest. There, the ancient guardians of the forest and today's forest dwellers are introduced. The Pfannspitz Cable Car then takes you easily and quickly to 2,545 m a.s.l., with an unforgettable view on the Odle peaks. Along the ridge of the Pfannspitz you finally reach the Plose Mountain Hut, and from there we return to Valcroce (Kreuztal), to the mountain station of the Plose Cable Car (paths no. 7 and 3), where the circular hike ends.
