Mount Cavallo, the local mountain of Vipiteno, has been known for its Rossy Park for some time now, a popular destination for families with children in the midst of a magnificent mountain world. In winter, the longest illuminated and snow-covered toboggan run in Italy (10 km) starts here on the Monte Cavallo. Now a tobogganing adventure is also possible in summer, the new summer toboggan run on rails starts at the mountain station of the panorama lift at 2,120 m a.s.l.
From there it's a rapid 1.3 km downhill ride to the valley station of the panorama lift - near there you'll find the mountain station of the Monte Cavallo Cable Car and the above-mentioned Rossy Park, where you can relax in the panorama chairs and wooden hammocks and enjoy the panorama. Speeds of up to 40 km/h and an average gradient of approx. 21% are part of the Panorama Mountain Coaster on Mt. Cavallo (Rosskopf, in German). Who dares?!
