Like in every larger city of South Tyrol, also Merano offers a traditional Christmas market including some 80 exhibitors, offering their products from the first Advent weekent to Chistmas. Christmas presents, a special Christmas atmosphere, that’s what you are going to come across at Merano.

Mediaeval market booths offer special beverages and delicacies. You can for example taste a honey wine, a brandy punch and also grilled buckwheat dumpling slices. Also handicraft products are offered at this Christmas Market, including home-made candles, felt slippers or Christmas decoration.

There are also special attractions for children which make children’s eyes sparkle. Leave hustle and bustle of Christmas time behind and enjoy the pleasant and solemn atmosphere of the Merano Christmas Market.
