Ega

The localities Pone Nova, Obereggen and Novale, located at the foot of the Latemar mountain range, belong to Nova Ponente.

Particularly in winter this area has got much to offer: the ski centre Latemar-Obereggen is within easy reach and offers modern lift facilities and 46 km of ski slopes. A shuttle service, running at regular intervals, takes you from the village to the skiing area and back. Those who love cross-country skiing can look forward to some 100 km of cross-country ski runs at Nova Ponente, Monte San Pietro, Passo Lavazé, Tesero and Passo Pellegrino.

In summer, however, Ega is an ideal starting point for trekking in the surroundings as well as for mountain bike tours.

We suggest: visit the parish church of San Nicolò d’Ega and make a day trip to lovely Lake Carezza!
