Description

An evening dedicated to women's rights, which are too often denied or silenced, both in distant contexts and in everyday life. Through testimonies, poetry and a convivial moment, experiences of female resistance and commitment will be given a voice.

The struggle of Afghan women will be addressed through the story of RAWA's work and the “The flower of Herat” project; a concrete example of social responsibility will be provided by the testimony of the Pompadour company; and gender-based violence, discrimination and women's empowerment in South Tyrol will be reflected upon thanks to the intervention of the GEA Anti-Violence Centre.

The heart of the evening will be a round table discussion, animated by stimulating questions and open dialogue between the guests. The narrative will be enriched by poetry readings, which will give voice and breath to the stories told.

An opportunity to listen, reflect and share. Because every flower that resists is a sign of hope.
