Our new and small Hotel Ortler has been reopened in June 2016 and appears in a totally „new look“.
New lounges, a new panoramic dining room with large buffet area and a new hotel entrance with reception are awaiting you. South Tyrolean stuben and a lot of new space to relax!

A small hotel with great cordiality

A familiar and cozy ambience coupled with the personal, always attentive care of the guests; these are the main factors characterizing our "small but fine" 3 star Hotel in Castelrotto. Here, in our peaceful house in the heart of the Dolomites, you will feel immediately at home and soon part of the family.
Our house, which provides 16 rooms, is located in the beautiful fraction S. Valentino in the resort Castelrotto. Our business, where much attention is paid to the personal care of the guests, is situated in a sunny area at the foot of the Sciliar and offers magnificent views of the surrounding Dolomites, UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The 3 star Hotel Ortler offers a large garden with swimming pool and comfortable sun loungers and a nice, clean and well-kept sauna oasis for relaxing moments. Our welcoming bar represents a popular meeting place for all the guests who would like to chat, to play or to spend laid-back hours in good company.
A panoramic terrace with breathtaking views of the mountains awaits you as a special highlight. Looking at the Sciliar, the imposing Ortler (just 75 km away as the crow flies and namesake of our hotel) or the idyllic villages Siusi and Castelrotto, the aperitifs “Veneziano” or “Hugo” taste even better.
Situated three kilometers above the village center, from our hotel it takes you only a few minutes to reach the skiing area Dolomiti Superski and hiking paradise Alpe di Siusi on the Sciliar plateau.

As a guest at the Hotel Ortler you have the opportunity to leave everyday life behind you, close your eyes and relax in the clean, functional and tastefully furnished Tyrolean rooms after a hard day on the slopes or in the mountains of South Tyrol.
In the familiar and cozy atmosphere of our hotel in the holiday resort Castelrotto S. Valentino you will feel completely at ease throughout your stay.

The Trocker family warmly welcomes you to the small but fine Hotel Ortler in Castelrotto South Tyrol! We would be happy to show you our home!
