The hosts Doris and Christian Kohlgruber, both trained sommeliers, will bring you closer to wine in all its different shades.

Der Weinmesser is located in sunny Scena/Schenna near Merano/Meran, the perfect spot for Alpine-Mediterranean holidays.
Scena/Schenna offers a fascinating panoramic view of the South Tyrolean mountains, of the gentle vineyards, and of Merano/Meran with its picturesque villages.
Der Weinmesser is the ideal starting point for adventures hikes, indulgent outings, and cultural excursions.
Since April 2019, Der Weinmesser has been renovated and 16 new rooms/suites and a lounge lawn with an outdoor forest sauna have been created. Each room tells its own little story, and the wood from old wine barrels and vines gives them a very special charm.
