In summer there are various mountain and bicycle tours at the Schwemmalm hiking area and at the Stelvio National Park to recharge the human batteries. The Ultimo Valley stands for high alpine pastures, shingle roofs, rustic mountain farms and an almost untouched idyll of nature - and this all far away from the hectic pace of everyday life.
In winter the Schwemmalm ski area waits the guests with its perfectly groomed and varied pistes or with possibilities for snowshoe and winter hiking, cross-country skiing, ice-skating and tobogganing.

The kitchen pampers the palate with regional, mediterranean and vegetarian specialities.

Cancellation policy

Trip cancellation and insurance policy

In times of Covid: Money-back guarantee: In the event of border closures, travel bans on entering South Tyrol, officially imposed hotel closures, quarantine or new lockdown established by the government, we offer you the following alternatives:

- You can change your booking in our hotel to a different period– doesn‘t have to be now, you can also do it later. In this case, your deposit will be credited to your next holiday at Hotel Schweigl.
- You can cancel your stay free of charge and get the deposit back. In this case, please send us your bank details (IBAN and BIC).
- Should the government announce any border closures during your stay, of course you can leave at any time and the days bookes and not enjoyed will be cancelled free of charge.

Cancellation due to Covid-19 illness: To protect yourself financially in such cases, we recommend you to take out a travel cancellation insurance with the “Europäische Reiseversicherung” (see below).

Should you have to cancel your holiday at 3-star superior Hotel Schweigl for any other reason, our regular cancellation conditions apply:

Up to 2 months before arrival: free of charge
2 months - 31 days before arrival: 40% of the total amount
30 - 8 days before arrival: 70% of the total amount
Within 7 days before arrival: 90% of the total amount
Late arrival, early departure & no-show: 100% of the total amount for booked and not enjoyed days
