150 Years of Volunteer Fire Department Schlanders – A Reason to Celebrate!
Since 1875, we've been on duty day and night – for your safety, for our community, for strong solidarity.
This year, we celebrate 150 years of firefighting history – full of courage, dedication, and teamwork.
And we want to celebrate with you – in style!
Look forward to two days packed with highlights:
water-based fire drills, music, entertainment, culinary delights, and a fun kids’ program.
Experience the fire brigade up close – at Matscher Au on July 12 and 13.
Get a behind-the-scenes look, meet our team, and join us in celebrating 150 years of community service.
Saturday
Fun “Nassbewerb” competition with historic fire pumps and hoses – starting at 10:30 AM
Live music by "Oberwind" and "VollBluet"
Sunday
9:30 AM: Holy Mass followed by a festive parade through Schlanders to the event grounds
Musical entertainment by the Bürgerkapelle Schlanders and "Die jungen Pseirer"
