The Brixen Citizens' Band is one of South Tyrol's most traditional wind orchestras and an integral part of the town's cultural life. Founded in 1804, it combines musical quality with living tradition. Its repertoire ranges from classical wind music to modern arrangements and festive marches.

The band performs regularly at concerts, church celebrations, parades, and official events—both in Brixen and abroad. The Bürgerkapelle places particular emphasis on promoting young talent and fostering a sense of community among its members.
