Description

Martina Berks, born in 1959 in the Lower Rhine region, devoted her entire professional life to caring for ill people. After many years working as a senior intensive care nurse in heart transplantation medicine at Düsseldorf University Hospital, she was involved in establishing a heart center in Duisburg. Following a joint move to southern Germany with Udo Kreuger, she continued her career in Stuttgart, where she also held a senior management position as Director of Nursing Services.

Udo Kreuger, born in 1958 in Westphalia, studied architecture in Dortmund. His professional focus has always been on buildings for healthcare and research, working in various architectural firms. After a period of teaching at the University of Stuttgart, he now runs his own architectural practice in Stuttgart together with a partner.

The bond uniting the two life partners is their shared passion for travel. In addition to their hobbies of photography and cooking, they have traveled together to almost all continents and passionately enjoy discovering foreign cultures.
