Grab your backpack, take the cable car up to Monte Cavallo, and find your favorite little spot surrounded by nature. Waiting for you is a delicious South Tyrolean alpine picnic full of regional specialties!

You can enjoy homemade bread, homemade jam, cake lovingly prepared by the Sternhütte alpine hut, products from the Vipiteno Dairy, fresh fruit, croissants, cold cuts, hard-boiled eggs, and many other sweet and savory treats. Of course, a picnic blanket is included – and you can even take it home with you!

What’s more, the offer includes a voucher for a coffee or a hot tea at the Sternhütte. This initiative is part of the Yogurt Days, taking place from July 4 to July 25, 2025, with a varied program of events and tastings dedicated to regional culinary delights.

Price: €27.00 for two people; €39.00 for families
Backpack pick-up: at the valley station from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Info: A deposit of €20.00 is required for the backpack and must be paid at the ticket office of the valley station.

The cable car ticket is not included in the price.
