Farm Encounters - llamas at the Prennergut

The Prennergut in the Val d'Ega valley specialises in encounters between people and animals, which is why it rightly bears the name "Begegnungshof" (Encounter Farm). At the Pretzenberg in Nova Levante village, you can meet various animal species that will be expertly introduced to you.

Species-appropriate husbandry and respectful interaction with the carefully trained animals, who are well-prepared for their tasks, are the top priority. In high summer, you can get to know life on the farm and its animals once a week. This experience is suitable for children aged six and over, who must be accompanied by an adult.

Outside the high summer months when the encounter experience is available - in spring, early and late summer, and autumn - you can do exercises in the paddock or take part in walks and trekking tours with the llamas and alpacas. Choose from taster, half-day or full-day tours in the Catinaccio-Latemar area, the realm of King Laurin. Multi-day tours are also available by arrangement.

How to get there: The educational and alternatively managed farm is located in the Via Pretzenberg road in Nova Levante. If you are arriving by bus, get off in the centre of Nova Levante. From there, the farm is about a 20-minute walk away.
