On International Museum Day, the Hofburg Brixen offers free admission and guided tours for young and old alike. The focus is on the Peasants’ Wars, during which the Hofburg was a central location 500 years ago. The special exhibition “1525–2025 IRRUPTION - SUBVERSION - RENEWAL” and a themed tour provide fascinating insights into this turbulent era.

• 10:45 AM – Themed tour on the Peasants' Uprising of 1525 (in Italian).
• 11:15 AM – Themed tour on the Peasants' Uprising of 1525 (in German).

• 2:00 PM – Children’s tour (in German).
