Description

Lecture by Dr Zangirolami, General Coordinator at CLS in Bozen, dedicated to the dialogue between antiquity and the contemporary world

The lecture forms part of the programme of events accompanying the exhibition “Artifices: The Creators of Art” (TreviLab, Via Cappuccini 28, Bolzano) and focuses on the comparison between ancient and contemporary art.

Through examples, reflections and quotations, the talk explores the role of Roman antiquity in the modern imagination, the relationship between “the classical” and “classicism”, the dissemination of antiquities, and the value of art as a living language.

An opportunity to reflect on the meaning of art today—between memory, innovation and new forms of expression such as street art.

The event is free and open to the public; no registration is required.
