On a plateau above Salorno, there is the village of Pochi di Salorno, located at 565 m asl.
Pochi, located at 565 m asl above Salorno, boasts a number of 200 inhabitants. Located about 5 km from Salorno in the Monte Corno nature park, this village is mainly characterised by viticulture, as the sunny slopes are favourable to the growth of grapevines. However, the centre of the village is the S. Orsolo parish church.
The well-known “Dürerweg” hiking trail, the trail the German artist Albrecht Dürer used for his journey to Venice, also stretches in this area. Due to floodings he had to change his route and took the road via Salorno and the Val di Cembra valley, past Pochi di Salorno.
A visit to the sculpture garden of the South Tyrolean artist Sieglinde Tatz-Borgogno is also worth a visit. The „garden of desire“ boasts more than 200 pieces of art true to the motto “freedom and harmony between arts and nature”.
