Located about 13 km from Salorno, the village of Cauria is surrounded by meadows and forests. The idyllic resort, boasting a number of only 50 inhabitants, is a perfect spot of land for those who seek a quiet little place to rest. Experience nature, far away from traffic. Either by mountain bike or on foot, the Monte Corno Nature Park boasts several natural monuments that are worth visiting, such as the Lago Nero and Lago Bianco lakes. The European long-distance hiking trail E5 takes you to these monuments and further on to the Monte Corno.
The Gothic parish church dedicated to S. Margaret dating back to the 13th century, is the village centre, established around 1500. Also the small Visitation of Mary meadow church (Maria Visitazione), located a little distance outside, is worth a visit.
