Near the famous skiing and hiking area of the Plan de Corones, there is the village of S. Stefano, belonging to San Lorenzo.
Slighly above most of the other villages belonging to San Lorenzo, there is S. Stefano, located at 961 m asl. Once upon a time S. Stefano used to be a mainly rural village, today it offers a series of touristic facilities. The church of S. Stefano is dedicated to S. Stefano and Vito.
Above S. Stefano, there is the only mountain farm of the village that is directly located at the slopes of San Lorenzo. Both in summer and winter, the Haidenberg farms is a popular excursion destination. In winter, you can rent sledges at the farm and toboggan down to S. Stefano. That’s real fun.
The Cron4 indoor and outdoor pool, the Val Pusteria golf course and the horse-riding stable in the sports area Reiperting are also reachable on foot.
