The past is still alive: A fascinating journey takes us to the ancient larches of Santa Gertrude, in the Ultimo Valley. At an altitude of 1,430 metres stand three impressive larches, considered among the oldest conifers in Europe. Their age is estimated at around 850 years, silent witnesses to the centuries that have passed.
