The Calvary Church, with its imposing domed towers, can be seen from afar. It is perched on Gleif Hill above Appiano and was built in the 18th century by the Capuchin friars. From San Michele, you can quickly reach the hill by following the Way of the Cross, and from here, there’s a wonderful view over the valley.
