The Schenón (Latemarspitze) is a 2,800 m high peak of the Latemar Massif. The summit cross is located on a small pre-summit at the edge of the steep north slopes, a little northwest of the actual summit. The name “Latemar” comes from the Ladin language and means “sea of milk”
