On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the organizers from the municipality, the city library, the Soroptimist Club Pustertal, NOBIS and Raiffeisenkasse Bruneck warmly invite everyone interested to an evening dedicated to peace “in a women’s way.”
Among other topics, the discussion will address the following questions: What role does gender play when it comes to peace? Is the idea of the “peaceful woman” merely a cliché? Does a peace shaped by women look different, and could it perhaps be more lasting?
These themes will be explored, discussed and reflected upon by high school teacher and feminist activist Heidi Hintner, philosopher Nicoletta Cusano, musician Alena Savina and architect and artist Rina Treml, together with moderator Judith Steinmair, bringing a highly topical global issue to the stage.
