David Frank’s music has a truly distinctive sound, born among the peaks of South Tyrol and dreamed far beyond, out in the world. Familiar Alpine sounds merge with blues influences, telling stories of freedom, home, and open horizons. His original compositions reflect a wide range of local styles while also opening up to free improvisation and captivating melodies.
With the David Frank Ensemble, a fascinating fusion of Styrian accordion, violin, and guitar emerges. Through their interaction, soundscapes take shape that reveal the richness of the three instruments in their close musical dialogue.
