Experience emotions! By bus over the Ofen Pass to Pontresina, where the breathtaking journey on the Bernina Express, the highest railway line in the Alps, begins. The Bernina Express takes you past imposing mountains and mighty glaciers to the summit of the pass at 2253m above sea level down to Tirano at 429m above sea level. The 1824m altitude difference is mastered by the railway line on a horizontal distance of only 22 km without cogwheel and despite an incline of up to 70 per mil!
