Jazzfestival - João Mortágua ‘AXES’

Jazzfestival Alto Adige reveals a new venue, when saxophonist and composer João Mortágua introduces his latest project at the Alperia hydroelectric power station in Brixen. The sextet from northern Portugal brings on stage four saxophones and two drummers, who create powerful synergies with complex rhythm work and colourful sounds. On request, Alperia offers guided tours through the power station prior to the concert.
