Description

Lemons and oranges, with their thousands of years of history, have always fascinated and inspired the classical arts, architecture and botany. Citrus fruits have been protagonists in various fields of science and have also aroused interest in the business world.
During this meeting, Alberta Cazzani and Wolfgang von Klebelsberg will illustrate some interesting aspects of citrus fruit production at Lake Garda and - surprisingly - in Bolzano, while Stefano Barbacetto will explore some of the events surrounding their trade in the 18th century. Elisabetta Carnielli will present the exhibition 'Citrus fruits in Bolzano' and moderate the meeting.

The conference will be held in Italian. A printed translation of the abstracts of the speeches will be available.
