At the Pardellhof farm true wooden artworks are manufactured
The Pardellhof farm is sunnily located at 670 m a.s.l. above Naturno and has been related with the Schnitzer family for more than 200 years as shown by an inscription in the old panelled parlour. Walter Schnitzer has to control about 3 hectares of orchards and half a hectare of vineyards in really steep position. To the farm also belong six hectares of wood, where the farmer finds the treasures for his wooden artworks.

Access route: Drive from Merano towards Naturno. At the level of Plaus, after the Mondschein tavern, turn right onto the Via Fallrohr road and continue until the Weintal inn. From there, the road proceeds uphill to the Pardellhof farm (approx. 1 km).
