Domestic woods like Swiss pine, chestnut, larch, lime and spruce are processes with love at the Thalerhof farm. The farm is located at 900 m a.s.l., in the district of Snodres above the village of Velturno. Since 1772 the farm is family-owned and offers a fantastic view on the Dolomites. The Kerschbaumer family manages the farm with 15 calves, two holiday apartments and 11 hectares own wood. The forest and his large woodcarving workshop are the passions of farmer Herbert Kerschbaumer. Especially during winter one can look over his shoulder or even attend a course in woodcarving.

From Chiusa resp. Bressanone follow the signposting towards Velturno. In the village centre take the road towards Snodres/Schnauders. After approx. 1 km a little road turns off left which proceeds straight to the farm.
