Take these small carts for an adventurous ride from Mt. Watles in the Upper Val Venosta down into the valley

A thrilling ride on a mountain cart is an excellent alternative to taking the cable car down the mountain. On the Watles adventure mountain, above Burgusio, a component locality of Malles Venosta, you will find a destination for the whole family and for adventure-seekers that not everyone knows about yet. At an altitude of over 2,000 metres, there's a magnificent view of the glaciers of the Ortles Alps as well as the chance to go paragliding and to enjoy the Adventure Lake. Here you can pan for gold, search for diamonds, ride a raft or try out the Funballz.
Just above the lake, in the middle of the alpine meadow with its sun loungers and parasols, an E-Trial course awaits you. A few metres away, at the Watles mountain station and the Plantapatsch Hut, the mountain carts are lined up and ready. They come in various sizes, suitable for adults and children. They are easy to steer, and disc brakes provide the necessary safety and control on the descent. A helmet is, of course, included. And you're ready to go: Lean back and head downhill!
The four-kilometre gravel track of the Watles Rider follows the toboggan run and leads through meadows and forests to the valley station of the Watles Cable Car. If you have family members or friends in front of you, you can either overtake them or slow down for a moment and enjoy the ride. Otherwise, you'll just get covered in the dust from the person in front. Three wheels, no pedals and no engine - that means no noise and no exhaust fumes, but all the more fun! Mount Watles is currently one of the few places in South Tyrol where you can try this fun sport.
