E-Trial is trial motorbiking with an electric drive. The sport combines action with a great experience in nature and is suitable for the whole family. The focus is on skill, balance and concentration on the specially designed course. As the motorbikes are electrically powered, they are quiet and emission-free. In South Tyrol, there is an E-Trial course on the Watles adventure mountain.
At the mountain station above Burgusio, at an altitude of over 2,000 metres, in summer you will find not only an alpine hut, the popular Watles Adventure Lake, an archery course, hiking trails and the opportunity for paragliding, but also the small electric motorbikes. You receive a fully charged e-motorbike and the necessary protective gear. You can buy a balaclava for the helmet on-site or bring your own. The bikes themselves do not have a seat - you ride standing up over various obstacles, using your thigh muscles as well as the throttle and brake.
A magnetic safety switch allows the entire motorbike to be shut off in an emergency. There are two tracks: an easier practice circuit and the actual E-Trial circuit on the slope with several ascents and descents. The cable car takes you conveniently to the mountain station and the course. For the descent, to round off the experience, you can take a mountain cart instead of the cable car. In winter, Mt. Watles transforms into a skiing area with a pleasant winter hiking trail.
