Lasa High Ropes Course

An adventure in the treetops: South Tyrol’s largest natural high ropes course is near Lasa

The idyllic village of Alliz lies at the entrance to the Gadria Valley and belongs to the municipality of Lasa in the Val Venosta. Here, for over a decade, you'll find South Tyrol's largest natural high ropes course. With ten courses and 100 platforms at varying heights and difficulty levels, it offers challenges for all skill levels. Beginners can take their first steps close to the ground.

More experienced adventurers can be sent to lofty heights, where they can balance between the treetops - almost at eye level with the glaciers of the Lasa Valley. The high ropes course extends over a historic irrigation system of "Waale", which once irrigated the fields.

Therefore, the theme of water is central to the concept. The Lasa High Ropes Course was initiated by the Val Venosta mountain and ski guide Georg Maschler. A highlight is the new children's course, specifically designed for the needs of children aged six and up.

How to get to the high ropes course: It was built in the "Litzer Waldele" forest. Coming from Merano, after the Maria Lourdes Church, take the first exit on the right and continue straight towards Alliz. After about one and a half kilometres, the first car park comes into view, followed by another. The bus stops in the village, from there it's a 650-metre walk (about 10 minutes).
