It is the second half of October when innovative solutions for the hotel and catering sectors are sought and professional relationships are forged in Bolzano. Over the four days at the FieraMesse in Bolzano, around 400 exhibitors display the latest trends. The focus is placed on specific themes, such as Food & Drink - because good food and drink is always popular.

As part of Food & Drink, the kmBIOmeile is organised, offering top-class organic quality from South Tyrol and neighbouring regions, as well as Vinea Tirolensis, which presents the best terroir wines from South Tyrol. The other areas are called Architecture & Design, Value of People, and Innovation: Here, young hoteliers and restaurateurs are given a voice, an inspiring ambience looking towards the future is created, and start-ups are presented.

The Hotel Sustainability Award is also presented as part of "Innovation". Eight jurors crown the most innovative companies in five categories: Sustainable Food & Drink (2025 winner: South Tyrolean pork with the Quality Mark), Circular Product Design, Sustainable Technology, Sustainable Tourism Pioneers 360° and Better Together. The first three categories of the award are reserved for exhibitors, the last two for visitors and the tourism industry.
