The year at the FieraMesse in Bolzano begins with the winter sports fair "Prowinter", followed a few days later by the international trade fair for resource- and energy-efficient construction: Klimahouse. Experts and interested parties are brought together here - or to put it another way: 400 exhibitors, including start-ups, and 30,000 to 40,000 visitors every year.

Part of this is also the two-day Klimahouse Congress: It takes place at the MEC - Meeting & Event Center Südtirol Alto Adige in the Bolzano trade fair district, where various speakers present in Italian, German and English with simultaneous translation. The Klimahouse Tours to future-oriented projects, which define new building standards and combine innovation, energy efficiency and environmental protection, are also on offer.

Projects of extraordinary quality are presented and awarded every year at the Wood Architecture Prize. In 2026, Südtirol@Klimahouse, the platform for the future of conscious building, Klimahouse [R]evolution on the topic of artificial intelligence, and the Klimahouse Future Hub were also introduced. At the Future Hub, 20 start-ups selected by PoliHub - Innovation Park & Startup Accelerator of the Politecnico di Milano - presented themselves to the audience.
