Motorcycle touring in the Dolomites

A fabulous and unique panorama expects you round the Sella alpenstock.

The following tour includes about 200 km, starting point is Nova Levante, from where you reach Passo di Costalunga and the localities Vigo di Fassa and Canazei. Further on this tour takes you to Passo Sella which provides a breathtaking view on the surrounding mountains. But that’s far from being all, as in the course of the day you can enjoy some more viewpoints.

Directly below the rock faces, the tour proceeds on innumerable sharp bends towards the mountain pass. Once reached the pass, drive on until the next crossing, where you turn right towards Passo Gardena. Afterwards you will enjoy driving down the road to Corvara, from where the tour takes you to Passo Campolongo an further on to Arabba. Once reached this place you can enjoy a view on the popular Col di Lana mountain, which in WW1 has been venue for numerous bloody battles.

Progressing on this road you reach Andraz, where you take the road towards Passo di Falzarego. Enjoy the great panoramic view on the Dolomite mountains in a short stop. Afterwards the tour takes you and your motorcycle to Passo do Valparola, from where you can drive to S. Cassiano and La Villa in Val Gardena. From these villages you take the road to Passo Campolongo and Arabba.

Now you can choose from two possibilities: you can either drive from Passo Campolongo back to Passo Gardena and Sella alpenstock towards starting point, or drive from Passo Campolongo via Passo Pordoi to Val di Fassa and Passo di Costalunga.

Enjoy the great penoramic view!
