In the heart of fruit orchards, Tablà provides a calm atmosphere and relaxation in the green.
Once an independent municipality, since 1928 Tablà, together with the hamlet “Neunerhöfe”, belongs to the municipality of Naturno. The little village, located in the heart of apple orchards, is located at 650 m a.s.l. at the exit of the Schleidertal valley. Here, at the fertile debris cone at the foot of the Monte Tramontana, you can best experience the surroundings on foot or by bicycle. Especially in spring, in the period of the apple blossom, Tablà shows its bright side.
The centre of Tablà, inhabited by some 280 people, is the S. Nicolò Church, characterised by various stylistic elements. The former Romanesque building was converted to the Gothic style in 1493 and decorated with Baroque barrel vault and segmental arch windows in the course of time. In 1899 a devastating fire destroyed parts of the church, today its interior boasts a late Gothic winged altar, probably realised by the artist Hans Schnatterpeck.
