An almost enchanted place at the very end of the Val di Mazia valley, reached via a challenging high-altitude hike. At the foot of Mt. Punta Saldura in the Oetztal Alps, at an altitude of 3,000 metres, the waters of the Saldura Lakes shimmer among the bare rocks. Their origin - whether from a glacier or a spring - is revealed by their colour, either turquoise or dark blue.
