Hike in the Monte Corno Nature Park

We take the bus to the South of South Tyrol, reaching Neumarkt. From there, we follow the road into the Fleimstal, passing Montan and the San Lugano Pass before arriving in Altrei (1200 m), the starting point of our hike. From the village center, an old cobbled path gently ascends through the forests of the Monte Corno Nature Park, leading us to the idyllic Langmoos biotope. The trail then continues on a forest road up to the Krabes Alm (1529 m), beautifully located on wide alpine meadows with magnificent views of the Lagorai range, and offering the chance for a relaxing stop. After our lunch break, we descend across flower-filled pastures and open larch groves towards the Ziss Pass. Following the forest road, and passing a Kneipp facility, we return to Altrei, where the bus will be waiting to take us back home.
