Rablà

Rablà, part of the municipality of Parcines, was constructed on a debris cone and attracts a large number of passionate modellers

Rablà, part of the village of Parcines, is located at 525 m a.s.l. About 2,000 years ago the famous “Via Claudia Augusta” passed near the village, today this area is mainly agriculture-oriented, tourism has also an important role to play.

A nice walk in the village leads you through narrow alleys and to historical buildings. Particularly worth seeing is the S. Giacomo Church from the 16th century. The little tower was added in 1928. Next to the Hanswirt farm you can admire a replication of a Roman milestone, which was washed ashore by the Zielbach river. What you also don’t have to miss is a visit to the train world of Rablà, the largest digital model railway exhibition of Italy. Boasting a considerable number of 20,000 models, it is the largest collection in all of Europe.

Rablà is also ideal for doing sports: about 200 km of well-marked hiking trails stretch through the Gruppo di Tessa Nature Park, also fantastic cycling tours are on offer. A miniature golf facility and tennis courts complete the offer.
