Ascent with the cable car Tiers to the Frommeralm. The König Laurin Bahn 1+2 takes you to the Kölner Hütte. Over the Vajolonpass (2.560 m) to the Rotwandhütte. Descent to the Karer Pass.
Walking time: approx. 5 hours
Requirements: Moderately difficult hike
Surefootedness required
Ascent: 450 m
Descent: 850 m
Refreshment stop: Rotwandhütte or Pederiva Hut
