Today is a special day for the pasture cheese makers and dairymen. Around 40 Alpine dairies, primarily from the Venosta Valley, present their cheeses today to the public and the jury, and wait for their evaluation. This presents the opportunity for these Alpine cheeses to be sampled, evaluated and purchased.
