Casere Visitor Centre

The information point of the Vedrette di Ries-Aurina Nature Park is the perfect addition to the Nature Park House in Campo Tures

At the end of the Valle Aurina, where the main road ends at the hikers car park in Casere, the information point of the Vedrette di Ries-Aurina Nature Park is located. The place is ideal: The visitor centre and the surrounding nature are framed by the mighty peaks of the Rieserferner Group. Wonderful walks to the nearby Holy Spirit Pilgrimage Church and to the alpine pastures, e.g. to the Lahner Hut, as well as winter hikes and cross-country ski days in winter start right here.

The simple wooden building, which also houses the Predoi Tourist Information, tells about arts and crafts and agriculture in the Aurina Valley. The offer of the Casere Information Point is completed by a three-dimensional relief of the landscape of the valley, a special exhibition about the rear Aurina Valley and the films "Living in Predoi" and "Predoi Panorama". The bigger Vedrette di Ries-Aurina Visitor Centre, however, is located 25 km away in the village of Campo Tures.
