The visitor centre has been established true to the motto of the Vedrette di Ries-Aurina Nature Park - "Limits of nature and limits of humans" - and provides impressions of the nature park from a slightly different prospective. Here in Campo Tures village, beneath the majestic Tures Castle, at the entrance you can admire a film from an eagle's perspective. Another peculiarity is the three-dimensional relief, providing an overview of mountains, mountain huts, lakes and trails. A time-pendulum, however, lets you experience the genesis of the mountains.
The glacier world and minerals as well as the typical dialect of the Valle di Tures and Valle Aurina valleys are also shown, and of course the interesting flora and fauna is a main topic. Family-hikes accompanied by nature park rangers and children's afternoons with exciting topics complete the offer of the Vedrette di Ries-Aurina Visitor Centre: Also here, kids can meet Daksy, the little badger and the mascot of South Tyrolean's nature parks. The second information centre is by the way located at the head of the Aurina Valley, about 25 km away: the Casere Information Point.
