The exclusive annual presentation of the Independent Winegrowers of South Tyrol presents the best estate wines every October
The kmBIOmeile and Vinea Tirolensis are held in the Food & Drink sector as part of the Hotel - Trade Fair for Hotel and Catering. It is the annual tasting of the Freie Weinbauern Südtirols (FWS), the Independent Winegrowers of South Tyrol, who produce authentic, terroir-driven top wines and achieve nearly a third of the most important national wine awards in South Tyrol.
The 66 participating member estates of the Independent Winegrowers from all South Tyrolean cultivation areas have been presenting hundreds of different wines for over two decades - among the best, regularly awarded wines are the Lagrein Riserva Taber from the Bolzano Winery, and the Chardonnay Troy from the Termeno Winery. The winemakers introduce them - the sommeliers, hoteliers, restaurateurs and wine lovers then taste the wines.
At the Vinea Tirolensis 2025 at the FieraMesse in Bolzano, 15 winegrowers from Trentino also participated for the first time. Furthermore, every year there is a Weinbibliothek (Wine Library), a tasting counter managed by experienced sommeliers featuring the best local quality wines.
