video : A stroll through Bressanone
Our today's MTB tour starts in Bressanone (Brixen, 560 m a.s.l.), at the eastern edge of the town, where the road towards Luson starts. We follow the road up, the ascent is quite ok and easily to manage. Again and again gorgeous views on the valley, the opposite side of the Valle Isarco valley and the high plateau of Naz-Sciaves can be enjoyed.
After few kilometres we reach a junction, where we follow the marker "S. Andrea" (St. Andrä) and come to a mountain road. Past the forest, light green meadows and farms we arrive at Cornale (Karnol) - with fantastic view on Bressanone and surroundings.
Always following this road we come to the centre of Sant'Andrea where we take time for a comfortable rest before we cycle down to Bressanone again. Conclusion: very nice round trip with beautiful views on Bressanone, ideal for a half day trip with final stroll through town.
