Doladizza is located above the valley gorge formed by the Rio Nero stream. The gently rising landscape (in the picture the Piebl farm from the 17th century) is mainly used for fruit growing today.

Above Doladizza there is the Cislon mountain. The mountain area is part of the Monte Corno Nature Park.

Between Doladizza and Fontanefredde the road to Aldino and Nova Ponente branches off. The picture shows bridge of Aldino, which crosses the gorge of the Rio Nero.

The hamlet of Doladizza is located on the northern slope of the Cislon at about 700 m a.s.l., directly along the Dolomite Road. In former times the Val di Fiemme train passed by the village, while today the “Vecia Ferrovia dela Val de Fiemme“ railway line is out of service and represents a popular route for hikers and mountain bikers.

Especially in the period of the apple blossom, of course a little later in spring due to the altitude, Doladizza casts a spell over its visitors. Hikers can find a dense network of hiking trails leading through the Monte Corno Nature Park, a real pleasure for body and soul.
