Vipiteno's local mountain is known in summer for its Rossy Park - a popular destination for families amidst the mountain scenery. In winter, the skiing area attracts visitors with its 10-kilometre-long, floodlit toboggan run. And now there's a tobogganing adventure in summer too.
The new summer toboggan run on rails starts at the Panorama Lift's mountain station at an altitude of 2,120 metres. From there, you'll whizz 1,300 metres downhill to its valley station. Nearby, you'll find the Monte Cavallo Cable Car mountain station and the Rossy Park. There, you can relax in panoramic swing seats and hammocks and enjoy the view.
With speeds of up to 40 kilometres per hour and an average gradient of approximately 21%, the Panorama Mountain Coaster provides a thrilling experience. Who dares to take the exhilarating ride? Children aged three to eight ride free when accompanied by a person at least 15 years old.
From the age of nine, everyone can steer their own toboggan. Toddlers are not permitted to ride. How to get there: The valley station is a few minutes' walk from the Vipiteno town centre, and the city bus also stops there. From there, the cable car will whisk you up to lofty heights.

The Panorama Mountain Coaster operates every day from the end of June to early October - the season refers to the summer season of the Panorama Cable Car, which takes you to the Coaster.
Season start 2026 in June.
The Monte Cavallo Cable Car starts the summer season already at the end of May and ends it in early November: During this period, it stays open every day from 8.30 am to 5 pm.
